Gila Red Plain Replica Pot

Gila red is a slipped and smudged plain ware that was common during Salado times along the Salt and Gila Rivers. This pot is not a replica of a specific pot but of the type in general. It is made 100% authentically using the coil and scrape technique and all native clays and pigments and finally fired in an authentic surface mesquite wood fire. This pot looks and feels just like the real thing.
