For our February project in the Ancient Potters Cl For our February project in the Ancient Potters Club (my Wednesday night Zoom pottery class) we recreated Ancient Pueblo black on white bowls. I made three of them, small medium and large, here they are in their current state of painting (I still have a long way to go). The large one is painted with manganese paint and will be fired in oxidation, the medium bowl is painted with iron oxide to be fired in reduction. I have also included images of the originals and one of our March project goal, a Hohokam human effigy pot.
