Chaco Black on White Cylinder

This is a replica of a prehistoric pottery type called “Chaco Black on White. 5″ x 9.5″ It was made using hand collected clays and reduced iron paint that were hand collected and processed from around the Southwest, formed using the traditional coil and scrape method and was fired traditional smothered pit fire.

Chaco Black on White is a type of pottery that was made in northern New Mexico between 1075 and 1150 AD.
