Mimbres Sheep Effigy Replica

Made using the traditional coil and scrape technique with all wild collected clays and pigments then fired in an open, outdoor firing. This is one of the few authentic Mimbres replicas being made right now, most Mimbres pottery replicas use inauthentic materials and/or firing methods. This is the real deal, painted with red iron oxide paint and reduction fired just like the ancient Mimbres potters did it. The full build of this pot including firing can be seen in the video below.
