This is organic pottery paint. If it is applied to a smectite clay slip and fired in a limited oxidation firing it will result in black carbon designs. This can also be used as an organic binder in mineral paints.
Containers are approximately 10 grams. The paint is not filled all the way to the brim because it is a concentrate and needs room for adding water to rehydrate and use. The amount of pots that can be painted varies based on how much painting you do and the size of your pot, but generally the small container should be enough paint for 2 or 3 pots while the large container may paint around 7 to 10 pots. But individual results will vary based on a number of variables.
Keep the lid off until your paint is fully dry and rubbery, if you seal it up while the paint is wet it will ferment and ruin the paint.
