Chiricahua White Clay for Slip or Paint

4 ounces of purified white clay slip from southern Arizona. This is a bright white clay that has been purified through levigation, just soak it into a thin consistency and paint onto the outside of a pot. It will fire to a white color in an oxidation or reduction atmosphere. This is NOT a smectite clay and will not hold organic paint.
